We had a family room, but when the sofa bed was set up, it almost totally block the hallway. You need to jump over the bed to get to the bathroom.

The room was extremely small. I booked for 2 adult and 2 child - the room came with 1 double and 1 sofa bed as expected. But when the sofa bed is open there was not even space to open our suitcase or even move without squeezing. That’s not an acceptable situation when it’s booked for 4 people. Also the lift malfunctioned during our stay - it was out for last 1.5 days and we had to climb stairs to 5th floor. Staff just apologized.

Cheap stay. Central location and easy parking straight across from hotel. Plenty for breakfast. Only downside was the constant noise of the subway till midnight which was really loud. This kept some of the family awake.

Weekend break in Glasgow with our teenage sons, so booked double room with sofa bed. Boys shared sofa bed but not big enough for adult sized children. Also, we could hardly move in the room when bed made up. Room overlooking busy road so had to keep window closed at night, making room v stuffy (the fan provided was ineffective). Breakfast buffet was good, staff friendly and v hard working 😊

Compact room, not suitable with kids. staff unable to provide an alternative. Noisy icemaker next to the room kept us from a quiet sleep.

The hotel was full because of a dance competition and kids were running up and down the halls all night long. The room was too small with the pull out bed and you had to roll across it to get to the other bed. The parking was a nightmare, no in out privileges and twice the “validation” didn’t work. Overall the hotel was clean enough and sufficient but not nearly as nice as other HI Express hotels in Scotland.

Only there for 1 night but room was small and certainly not for a family of 4. When spare bed was put down you couldn't get past to go to the bathroom and had to climb over bed

We stayed in a family room which had a double bed and double sofa bed. The room was very small and once the sofa bed was pulled out, there was nowhere near enough room. I ended up hitting my toe of the sofa bed base and have now got a broken toe. Everything else was good. The bathroom was spacious enough for me to be able to shower my 2 children and get them dried and dressed. The breakfast was decent. The staff were pleasant and professional and our stay, overall, was good.

Clean rooms. Staff very friendly. Rooms are a bit small for a family of 4 and a lot of road noise but the location is great for city centre access.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception was smart and clean. Cleanliness was great throughout the hotel. The room was nice. But for a family of 4, just too small. The kids were on a sofa bed but when it was extended, we could barely squeeze by to access the bathroom, door etc. Apart from that the room was comfortable. The fan was welcome as the heat was too much within the room. The only real downside was the size of the breakfast room. We only ate their once and the other 2 times went elsewhere as we just couldnt get seated so gave up. Not ideal. The underground train can regularly be heard but after the first few times you tend to block it out, we knowingly chose city centre so have to expect city noises.
