We arrived early and we’re told to come back at 3pm as the room wasn’t ready. This was fair enough as check in time was 3pm. However when we came back at 3pm the room still wasn’t ready - we were told that housekeeping were in the room and it would be ready very soon. After waiting an hour and a half watching other people check in and go to their rooms, we were told the room was nearly ready and we were offered an apology and a complementary drink. One of the drinks arrived in a cracked glass and had to be returned. When we were eventually shown to our room it had a small double bed and a child bed. We had booked a room for 3 adults. The housekeeping supervisor got the room changed to a more suitable room. All this hold up ate into our time. We were 3 friends who meet up occasionally for a weekend away together. It was organised well in advance and we were looking forward to a nice afternoon relaxing and getting ready for our meal in the restaurant and then on to a concert. Because of this delay we had to rush and get ready and go down for our meal and then out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don’t know what the problem was whether it was a staffing issue, but we were very disappointed with our initial introduction to Hilton Belfast. The room and bed were very comfortable. Next morning we were seated beside the waiters station and bins which wasn’t ideal although we were next to a window looking out over the city. Breakfast Items kept running out

Great room size for a family, we had room 217, on a corner with a lovely view out of the H&W cranes. Plenty of room with king bed, sofa bed & travel cot. Also a small couch. We had space to bring both buggies to room also. Breakfast was very tasty and good choice for kids and adults. Ate an evening meal in restaurant which was delicious, free meals for under 5s. Reception staff amazing and hotel very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend, it was in a great location for us too. Will definitely return.

The chef was terrible and needs a lesson on covid 19. He refused to allow us to sterilize our baby bottles which were in a plastic bag and would have taken 30 seconds. Between the chef and the check in staff and the facilities this was the least kid friendly Hilton I have stayed at...and I've stayed at a lot it Hilton hotels.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for the Waterfront, St George's market and the city centre. The lanyon place carpark was really handy too. Check in was a bit of a siege with several customers having issues, and there was a hold accidentally put on our card but it was resolved a few days later. We booked a family room for ourselves and our 2 year old, and had loads of room. Everything was perfectly clean and the breakfast was five star. We will definitely return.
