Returned again to this lovely hotel, had family river view room, which id recommend. Staff very friendly, easy check in, breakfast is very good, from cereals, fruit to cooked breakfast. Only issue we had was the room was very hot, the window only opens slightly and there is electric fan.

Excellent value. We had a family room for 4 the room was large but not enough plug sockets at all considering we had a laptop ipad 4 power banks and 4 iphones the sockets (only two ) were under the tv the beds were right on the other side of the room so very inconvenient to charge anything. Bathroom was very clean lots of towels and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous plenty on offer for either continental or cooked breakfast. I would stay here again

Stayed in the family room with river view, amazing view can see York Minister, top of Cliffords Tower and of the River Ouse. Spacious room, modern clean bathroom. Breakfast is great, my husband was really happy they did fried bread. Lots to eat, cereal, croissants, hot plate full of English cooked bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms, tomato, fried bread. Staff really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was not a family room, we were crammed into a small double room. In doing so my son hurt himself badly on a large metal curtain tie back right above his camp bed.
