small sized family room. Not much room to manoeuvre, store suitcases or wardrobe space. No hotel parking or drop off zone to unpack car. Double yellow lines outside of hotel so at risk of parking ticket. Good location for exploring and lots to do around city. Breakfast nice but does get very busy at peak periods.

Breakfast was not good enough with restricted choices. Taste was not satisfactory to us a family. Kitchen staff were not available for any help. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

Overall happy with stay and breakfast. Slightly disappointed that no butter available for two mornings, but minor point. Rooms/beds clean and comfy. Could maybe do with bigger room for families?

Great for days out in York. Really helpful to be able to leave bags. Short walk from train station and into the city. Great for families

A clean, centrally located hotel. We paid for two family rooms. The sofa bed wasnt very comfortable but the room was clean and enough space for three of us in each. Breakfast was super busy and we had to take our food to the bar to eat. We ate around 8.30am and some items were scarce including bread, bagels and cutlery. We had our evening meal in the bar the first night. One order was incorrect and we had to send one back as it was cold.

We had a lovely family stay in a clean, friendly hotel. The breakfast was excellent as was the location. We would definitely stay there again.

Another great stay ! Only thing was that it was half term. A lot of unruly kids and parents who weren’t paying attention or were disinterested. NOT hotels fault. I had sympathy for staff who were patient and tolerant. We had a child with us who was well behaved, so not anti children

Really great family experience, staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so good, so many options. 2 small points though, better coffee in the rooms would be good and the tv service was pretty bad but these were small things, overall it was a lovely getaway and would definitely book again.

Easy walk into York centre, handy for both train station and sightseeing. As hotel not directly in centre nice and quiet in evening for family city break. Felt safe and easy to access. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Would stay again 😊
