Leaving a negative review purely because the management aren’t really bothered about the guests. I stayed in room 70, all ok with the check in, room nice. However in the morning I opened the curtains and had the entire wooden Pelmet and curtains land on me. It struck my left arm and luckily did land on my feet due to the side table below. I informed the night porter on my early check out and they said they would get management to call me. Nothing. I called them to speak to management the next day and again someone said they would call me back. Still nothing. Incredibly poor given the circumstances and potential injuries if this was a child. Didn’t bother to see if I was OK. For context the pelmet was slid onto two brackets, no fixings in them and very heavy. Terrible design but they were informed.

Stayed for one night only, had family business in Warwick/Stratford. Room was fine, large and clean and facilities good. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was fine but not to my taste. My wife's dessert, clementine tart, was to die for. Breakfast was the usual help yourself breakfast bar which was fine, hot and plentiful. All in all a good stay.

The girl at reception who had just come back from New York was very friendly and helpful telling us everything about the hotel and flooded area’s. The girl in the restaurant on her own was also very nice and did a great job. Our room was comfortable but we had joining doors to the next room I suppose a family room and the noise that came through that was unbelievable. We could hear everything the two women were saying like they were in our room and when they got up at 5.00am we could hear their alarm, going in the bathroom, talking, making tea, dog barking and then leaving. Don’t know where they were going at that time in the morning, did not hear them come back but heard the same again when they went out after 8.00am. Shame as our stay would have been lovely if it had not been for that. Room very good for price so we will use that hotel again if in area but make sure we don’t have an adjoining room.

Every member of staff I encountered here were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. They all went over and above to help with each of my queries. A really great asset to the place. The hotel bar and restaurant were lovely, clean and pet and family friendly. The outside spaces are lovely with lots of little nooks to sit and relax. Surrounding areas are a delight and a regular bus into Stratford-upon-Avon stops directly outside the hotel. My only negative comment would be to say that the bathroom we had was desperately in need of an overhaul. I would definitely return for a second visit.

Having read mixed reviews, we were a little worriws but the family room we stayed in was spacious, if a little tired looking. It was pretty clean, expect for some unpleasant stains on the bedspread and some cobwebs, but overall it was comfy and fine for one night. Breakfast was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking near room was a bonus.

We booked a double deluxe room (room 101) for a nice relaxing first stop off on a week away. Unfortunately this didn't happen. We had to wait a while for our room as house keeping was still going on, but we did get a complimentary drink. I can't fault the room, it was nice, spacious and had all the facilities we needed. Everything was fine until guests entered there room which was directly above ours. The floorboards above were extremely noisy and creaky. Whenever they walked around you heard every creaky footstep and they obviously needed to get their 10,000 steps in. This went on all the time we were there, even in the middle of the night and it ended up becoming really annoying. I know it's not the guests fault it's the layout of the floor that's the problem. Next morning after not much sleep we went for breakfast, again we were disappointed. We placed our order for a cooked breakfast which ended up taking over half an hour to arrive. When it did it was the size of what I would call a child's portion. When we checked out I voiced my problems with the noise and the receptionist was apologetic but it's no compensation for a ruined stay.

Unsuitable property for families. Was told this was okay for families if was however definitely not suitable. Room was disgusting and unclean. The child’s bed was a pull out sofa bed that has no colder at all. You could feel all the metal springs through the sheets. In the end my daughter had to sleep in our bed so she could actually sleep. This was really unfair on families.
