Start to finish, our stay was perfect. Location, room, facilities, food and team members…amazing. Location: Amazing grounds, where we watched deer. Room: Huge and comfy. Radiator a little noisy, but tiny thing. Pool/leisure centre spotless! Food: we had dinner, b&b…and didn’t expect a deal to have same menu as restaurant…but it was and amazing. Buffett evening meal with lots of choice/variety..even for me who is a fussy veggie. Breakfast the same high quality. Every single team member we spoke with were professional, polite and friendly. They cannot do enough. All in all a great stay, only area for improvement is mostly out of the resorts control. Drunk golfers swearing and staggering around the bars/restaurant. Family’s and kids really don’t need to hear it…and there should be security in place to keep them in check. Hopefully that was a one time thing, as the place is amazing.

My family really enjoyed our time here. It was a nice getaway and the facilities were lovely. We mostly enjoyed having a swim in the pool also the surrounding area was so beautiful. We will definitely go again.

Awesome location. We had a nice stay. The rooms and bathrooms are a but dated. Beds are all right. The pool is good for kids as its shallow. We enjoyed sona and steam rooms the most. Nice hot breakfast, although could do with some salads and vegs. We got lovely veg sausages. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel, virtually faultless except for the food cost and then the sneaky 12.5% service charge, for someone to bring the food to the table was a bit steep. Cheese and bacon burger £19… ‘peri peri spatchcock baby chicken £30 and it wasn’t very peri at all, a hill of £55 after tax and service charge for the two meals mentioned, let down an otherwise lovely hotel stay. Golf course looked fairly good too.

The steak was great, the bed was comfy but this place is looking tired. The Pool and Spa are pretty poor with half the already small pool taken up with children's swimming lessons. Warning if your are travelling for business they say they don't have a VAT number so while they are charging you VAT there is no VAT number on anything.

The Hotel was lovely though the decor was a little tired. The pool was brilliant for the children and the staff very helpful. Where we were disappointed was the very limited children's menu this led to all three children selecting from the adult menu, even the youngest. The bill for the 5 of us was about double what we would usually pay and though there was nothing to complain about with the quality it was also not an exceptional meal either! I'd advise families to eat out for an evening meal. Breakfast on the other hand was reasonably priced.

Waited over an hour and 15 mins for dinner. After being seated, ordering and then questioning timings we were informed they were unexpectedly busy due to a 300 guest event taking place. Eventually due to travelling with our family we asked for the food to be brought to our room. On receipt it was cold to the touch. Front of house did arrange for a full refund of the costs of the food it must be said. Room itself was generally basic but little things like the chair was falling apart which left bits of leather and fabric on the floor. We regularly travel and stay around Tamworth but won’t be revisiting here unfortunately.
