The Villa Wrea Green

Easy check in, nice room , very clean and good facilities. The grounds were ideal to sit on the outside tables ( the weather was great) and have a drink , while the children played on the grass. Nice and quiet , Wrea Green is a lovely little village. The food in the hotel was very good, one slight negative is the service in the restaurant at night was a little slow.

Booked a family suit only to be told on arriving that no pets are allowed in the suits. We was then offered a lower ground double room for pets with no refund as i was told the rooms are the same price. I doubt this very much. Anyway we had to stay and the place is nice, drinks are reasonable.

Lovely, friendly email booking experience with quick responses to personal requests. My daughter called to arrange flowers to be in our room, with specific requests and these were arranged and perfect. Comfortable bed and clean room, although area around bottom of shower screen could have been cleaner. Lovely large, clean white towels folded on heated rail which was lovely. Do not order avocado & poached egg on toast for breakfast!! It is disgusting! No sign of fresh avocado, it's a dingy green squirt of 'something'! Eggs are pre-poached and reheated so are rubbery. Very disappointing. Cold buffet selection is lovely however and service friendly. All in all a pleasant first stay and we will probably return again when visiting family in Kirkham.

Lovely hotel, fabulous room, beautiful surroundings, warm welcome, great food, lovely bar & restaurant area. What more could you want? Special mention to the lady who served our breakfast, nothing was too much trouble and she even arranged for our fur baby to have a special doggy breakfast of scrambled eggs each morning. What a fabulous experience we had, thank you so much. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed here for a family wedding. Wedding was excellent, everyone had a wonderful time and the food was great. The hotel room we had was on the top floor, it was a bit tired and could do with some updating. We had a family room with 2 bedrooms. The main room was lovely and large but the smaller room wasn’t so good. It had two single beds which didn’t match. The mattresses in the twin room were lumpy. There was a sky light with a blind which we could not close as the plastic pole usually used to open/close these was missing. The tv did not work in this room. It was also dusty. The main room in contrast was lovely and large and clean but just very dark as it was up in the eaves and had a small window. Overall we did enjoy our stay and the wedding was lovely

The Villa was excellent we will return for a longer stay soon, the staff were so helpful and informative, the only downer was that we got wakened up at six in the morning by the people above us who had a child who wanted to practice clog dancing.

As always, we like to stay here as a family as we used to live in the area. The villa is big enough for us all to gather and on sunny days, sit outside to chat and giggle. The rooms are well prepared and of quality. Lovely kind and friendly staff (and owner).

The hotel and room were very comfortable. There was an excellent standard of cleanliness and compliance with Covid requirements. The room and hotel was maintained to a very high standard Jane on reception was informative / calm and friendly. She went the extra mile. She went out of her way to help me and the service she provided was outstanding and exceptional. She is a huge credit to the business Ian who is the restaurant / Bar manager is excellent / informative Listens to guests needs and exceeds their expectations From a environmental health / licensing point of view everything was present and correct The value for money is brilliant I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends not just for leisure but also business Furthermore I would recommend this hotel highly to all my 12,000 residents in my division

We enjoyed our visit, the staff are really helpful and very friendly. We felt very welcome and our family room was lovely. I was expecting a pull out bed/trundle type bed for our son, but we had a lovely room that was like a mini sweet and he had his own room. The bathroom was large with a seperate bath and shower which is ideal if you are traveling with younger children. There is also a play area, a bar and resturant. The food is lovely and again the service was fantastic and we were made to feel very welcome.
