Lovely hotel lovely friendly staff and lots to do for kids in the hotel. Our room was a little dated but spacious clean and comfy beds. The room was very hot and no air con, requested a fan from reception and within minutes they brought 2 up

The children's entertainment was good, although there was a terrible smell in the ballroom. The tv in the room wasn't working and there was a damp smell in the hallway. The lift was terrible! Constantly waiting around for it.

Visited for a 2 night stay for my mother's 90th birthday. Stayed in room 208 which looked in a sorry condition. Carpet frayed, paintwork scuffed. Top window loose, wouldn’t stay open. Hotel bar policy of no children after 9pm wasn't in force on the Saturday night
