Hotel Football, Old Trafford, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Great for kids. Excellent football pitch on rooftop. Excellent room service with goodies in mini fridge topped up.

Excellent hotel would be brilliant for children highly recommend

We were attending a gig at Old Trafford Cricket and for this the location was perfect! 10 min direct walk. Tricky finding the car park as its away from the hotel, so do your research before you set off, the staff however when I called to ask about it were excellent. Talking me through directions and meeting us at the front of the hotel. Only disappointment in the stay was the twin beds when a double room was booked, but only for 1 night and I'm sure if I'd complained it wouldve been sorted. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order and staff really helpful. If your a Man U fan, youd love the view we had from our room! Straight onto the stadium entrance. Our kids will love the complementary sweets provided in the mini fridge! Thank you

Great hotel. Very clean and modern. Rooms come with fridge full of complementary snacks for kids and water. Gated Parking opposite £10 per night. You have to drive past the hotel and double back to get to it. Look out for a large green gate. Press buzzer to connect to reception for entry. Exit gate on the right hand side, look for a button on the wall below to unlock the gate. 20second walk across to the hotel. Sports bat downstairs food was good and prompt as was service. service. Will Stay again.

We loved HF’s football themed offering, and the kids enjoyed playing football at Heaven with OT in the backdrop..

This is a football-loving child’s dream hotel. The rooms are football themed and some overlook Old Trafford - the home of Manchester United. The stadium is just steps away from the hotel and is accessible via taxi or light rail from the airport. Breakfast, especially on match day, is a bit packed and slow, so bring your patience, but they do a wonderful job of catering to football fans. The top floor is called “Heaven” and has an indoor football pitch for the kids to burn off energy. This is the place to stay if you are coming to Manchester and the Theater of Dreams.

The staff on reception have been particularly helpful. Had an accident, not at the hotel, resulting in fractures of the Ulna & Radius. My arm is in a plaster cast & sling and useless even for minor day to day tasks. Restaurant staff too have been nice-even getting my foot cut up as my mother did when I was a child.

If you have a football mad child, then this is the hotel for you. Even if your child does not support Manchester United, being next door is a bonus. My sons absolutely loved it, especially the roof top indoor football pitch. They are already planning our next visit.

Fantastic hotel, lovely touches for kids. All had a great time, only thing missing was a pool.
