The hotel was a very considerable cost for one night and so expected perfection, we found our room to be tired and so did my family who had a room on another floor. The lighting was so low even with my glasses on I had trouble focusing. Definitely needed brighter lighting. Breakfast was very nice but again I felt I couldn’t see the cereal, nuts etc the lighting was too subdued. Most hotels of a certain standard at least serve pots of tea/coffee to your table. This is not a budget hotel, I felt for the cost improvement could be made. Staff were friendly and polite.

We arrived at the hotel at 3pm to be advised that our room was not ready. We returned at 1600 to be told it still wasnt ready and we were taken to the bar and offered a drink. Another seperate family were in the same situation however they were offered two drinks and a meal. Our room was eventually offered to us at 1700. Unacceptable service and I would like a gesture from the hotel to compensate for our delay along with not being treated the same as the other family in our situation.
