My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The central location is the top feature and you can walk to several major areas in central London. The staff is attentive and friendly. Our room was made up everyday during a 7 day stay. And finally my favorite feature- the self-serve espresso machine in the lobby lounge. It became a must have routine before we headed out every morning. We hope to be back here some day!

The Grand was wonderful. It’s location near the tube stations made it very easy to navigate the city. There are plentiful places to eat and shop right around the corner. The staff was most accommodating and really made our stay memorable. The room we had was sufficient for a family of 4. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was served and each morning we looked forward to the pastries and the many other foods served. I definitely would stay here again if traveling to London. My family and I were very pleased with the property itself and especially with kindness from the staff that we encountered. Great job!

The location was perfect, just across the street from the Metro(tube). The building is old but very well taken care of and it’s beautiful. The laundry room was perfect for a family traveling with limited carry on space for Clothing. During our stay we didn’t hear neighbors so the sound proofing was great. We really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again. We felt safe and the location was great.

If you have a family member in a wheelchair forget it. No accessibility while we were there, you have to go next door to 50 Kalo struggle with 2 heavy doors and they open one. On 2 occasions our door was opened by a gentleman, "sorry wrong room', third time not so good, I had just got Mum into the shower shut the door and without a knock the door opens he said "sorry thought it was the rubbish room" 1st day we arrived put in 315 unpacked, went out and came back to have a shower then realised we were not in an ADA Room that was next door. Cimment from front of house "I am sorry my colleague may not have realised you needed the room" sorry he was the one who helped with the suitcase and took us through the restaurant. The ADA room was dusty and dirty under bedside table. Ifnyou want reenished tea and coffee you have to ask for them. Cleaning is only every 3rd day and then they don't even change the sheets. We stayed here in 2015 with wonderful memories but those memories have now been shattered. They are riding on their name from many years ago. The only positive thing about our stay was the location which they put a very high price on. Very low standard

Huge, comfortable room to accommodate the entire family. Filtered water and bottles were available to guests along with a louge that offered hot beverages. The location was very convient to the theatre district and it was easy to get around in the tube with several stations within walking distance.

The Grand is a great location for a family trip... walking distance to many London sights, easy access to public transport and a variety of good eats.. However, the hotel rooms are in bit of a need of renovation and in our case, our room was not the greatest: 1) location of the room, despite being on the highest floor, had no view and actually no working window to open the shades and get some daylight in; the one window we was 2/3 up the wall behind a desk and opened up to a brick wall... the other option was a skylight that had no view... REALLY DISAPPOINTED... i would avoid an odd number rooms on the 9th floor to be safe 2) we had a leak in the bathroom due to condensation... again, room needs a little revamp 3) the kitchenette was very hard to use; the sink location was under the microwave which was placed very low on the wall.... you could barely fit your hands into the sink to wash the dishes while your head hit the microwave... very strange layout 4) fridge was the smaller version that could barely fit anything; we stayed for an entire week and had to figure a way out to make things work... Overall, the location couldnt be beat but the hotel needs a some work and i would highly recommend not offering the "no view" rooms... or at least DISCOUNT them and tell folks what they are getting... Thanks...

Flight got cancelled hence booked on the day but was able to get a room despite busy season and was offered great service. Location is also great to get to West, East and North of London. Used it with family this time but would like to use it for business next time.
