The booking process was awful. I found it very difficult to speak to someone about requesting a cot for my baby. Hotels.com didn’t reply to my message and the hotel phone number sent me to a main office which again didn’t help me. I emailed the hotel directly and was told the cot would be in the room. There was no cot in our room. This issue was sorted quickly by staff but was frustrating after the issues I had experienced when booking. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The shower was very low though and even though I’m not tall I had to stoop to fit under.

The property was suitable for our plans and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property continues to go through refurbishment where we had to move rooms three times due to issues with windows and aircon, even the third room had issues with the aircon unit and TV but we’d given up by this point. The communal areas are fresh and use of the pool next door was also great for the kids.

Good location and parking was easy. Initial room we were given was dirty with facial hair in the sink and the carpet was filthy with several white pills on the floor which was especially concerning as I was travelling with two small children. Guest services were helpful and apologetic and did move us to another room and left some treats for the kids which they enjoyed.

We got to the hotel quite late, The bedroom was very uncomfortable because the air condition had broken down. The fan provided was not cooling the room at all, sleeping was a nightmare, the temperature was about 30 degrees outside. my family and I was sweating in the bedroom.

Gorgeous hotel lovely friendly staff delicious food with a lot of variety I stayed for 2 nights although I live nearby as I was having renovations done on my house I stayed with my 3 young children and no other adults so was a little apprehensive but was made to feel very welcome and very comfortable by all the staff we had a great weekend the kids loved it and the David Lloyd facilities where amazing .. large pool lovely family changing facilities children’s pool steam and sauna even an outdoor pool and a play area and cafe at David Lloyd too would go back again definitely and highly recommend this hotel
