Hope Street Hotel

Great hotel in a great location. Handy for the town centre and the docks. The family loved the breakfast! Our second visit and I'm sure we will return.

Loved the stay , both restaurants family friendly. Adam made my son evening with a quick chat about there favourite players

Booked for our anniversary, a treat night away from our toddler. The hotel was lovely, the staff great but we had a really poor nights sleep. The bed was incredibly noisy, any movement triggered a loud squeaking. There were wooden floor steps outside of our room so we often heard loud footsteps throughout the night. We were in a room street facing which added to the noise. For a higher end hotel, we expected more in terms of a good nights sleep. Yes it looked great but we’d have slept better in a premier inn

The hotel itself, the staff and service were all excellent. However - and this is more a reflection of an issue with Hotels.com - we booked a family room (advertised as favoured by families) based on the fact that the hotel was listed as having a pool. What the listing doesn’t mention is that the pool is for over 18s only!! I booked a non refundable rate and only discovered the age limit once the hotel emailed to confirm my booking. One very disappointed 11 year old.

Clean and comfortable a bit basic and really expensive! Nowhere to park unless your happy to pay £15 per day Its advertised with a gorgeous indoor and out door pool (That we wasnt allowed to use) what they dont mention is you have to be 18 to use them you have to book 2 hour slots and only if they have availability They also dont mention you have to pay £45 pp to use the facilities (for 2 hours) they welcomed the dog for a £15 charge But the kids werent made welcome and there was nothing there for them Natasha on reception had absolutely no empathy for the fact I had booked in for 2 nights and paid there 4* prices as i thought we could use the pool the kids where upset but she told me it was my fault for not reading the small print! Expedia where amazing and refunded me the charge per person to access the pool but this was before i realised they had to be 18 so couldnt go at all Expedia where profesional and understood But this hotel should state these rules Our whole plan was spoilt I would never have booked here If I knew

It is a beautiful hotel, in a lovely area of Liverpool. Restaurants are great. Unfortunately I booked this hotel to be able to take 2 children and use the pool. No one under the age of 18 are allowed in the pool. Hotels.com have not replied to my emails addressing this issue.

i booked the hotel especially because it is advertised as having a pool.my 2 kids were excited.when we arrived we were told the pool was adults(18 ) only.very disappointing.

Stayed for a family wedding, Saffy on reception looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, great location. Will definitely be staying again!
