We’d booked several family rooms for our daughter’s wedding. Extended family and friends had also booked more. All rooms were rated excellent and ours the signature suit Bertie was so spacious for the morning of the wedding preparations. The entire staff were friendly and professional but Amy the primary Wedding support worker and Connor the smiliest most friendly and helpful staff member was just brilliant in serving all guests, chatting with the kids and adults alike in the most lovely yet professional manner. All staff were wonderful but these two deserve a special mention. Food was brilliant also!

We were visiting family and had a night out planned in Liverpool so stayed over. We felt Malmaison was great value for money. A decent location just a short walk from Castle Street with loads of bars and restaurants, as well as the Albert Dock. Staff were really nice. Great room with a lovely deep bath.

Room 208 is a room to avoid. There were a number of parties below as I understand and with music that was a little too loud with a young baby who was woken up was not a nice experience. The towel rail was broken also. The staff as always are brilliant and help where they can. I usually stay at the Mal on my family trips back to Liverpool. Food and drinks are great as is the location.

4 out of 5 stars

Stayed here for 3 nights with breakfast included. Was a decent experience but you could tell the hotel was slowly starting to age. Furrniture and tv was old, the room needed a freshing up. Small niggly things like the clock in the room was out of batteries, the shower gels were almost empty (and was never replaced), the toilet was too close to the toilet roll holder so forbigger guys like me it was uncomfortable. Also the shower was not very powerful. Breakfast was fine but i didnt like how you had to order hot food, very much prefer the buffet approach. Definately think the breakfast is overpriced - £18 for adult and £9 for kids. Hotel was in a very nice area of liverpool right by docks and close to the main city centre (15 min walk). Overall, decent experience but i dont think i would choose to stay again.

As a family of 4 we choose to have 2 rooms. Both were beautiful however our rooms air conditioning did not work so the room was permanently hot. This made sleeping conditions very uncomfortable. But that is my only complaint other than that it was perfect!!
