READ REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING!!! Despite a pleasant stay, the property was run down. £100 deposit taken upon arrival, receptionist said it will be returned within 7 days, still no sign of it after a month! Sent an email after a week and they got back saying 8 to 14 days so I waited...nothing. Sent another few emails with no reply. Got Expedia involved and they gave me a hotel contact number which I rang to be abruptly told that if I emailed, it will be responded to straight away but it wasn't. Called that number the following day and they said a member of management will reply within 48 hours and they didn't. Got back to Expedia who said they couldn't do anything to help and to email again. I did and found my email address has now been blocked by the hotel!!! Expedia have been less than helpful with their duplicated "copy and paste" replies by their agents rather than reading the content of my messages. So, a nice little overnight family escape has turned into a much more expensive and stressful experience! Very disappointed at the lack of concern and support by Expedia

We went to Brighton for bank holiday weekend with my mum and 2 years old daughter. Paid £300 for 2 nights and these are the services we couldn’t get! There was no bar/restaurant as it’s advertised on your website so every morning I had to rush to leave the hotel to find some food for my baby. On top of that stuck in our room every night as I have a young baby. There was no room service at all! Forget about given new towels we had to stay with full bin for 3 days. The hotel is charging you £100 deposit to check-in where is no information about this! Plus they cut my £9 for no reason. There is a sign in your room if you smoke you will be charged £200 however all the corridors were smelled weed. Main door of the hotel works with electronic chip which is on your key ring however sometimes it doesn’t work. My mum stuck outside 2 hours although it was only 20:15 as the receptionist left 20:00 there was no one to help her. Our room was on the 5th floor. There was no lift so I had to carry my child and luggage’s on my own. Everyday we suffered with those stairs and no one helped. On my last day we have been offered to use the hot tub as a compensation. The receptionist booked us for 9:00 am however she haven’t arrived till 9:20 so we had to wait at the basement floor where was absolutely disgusting. Again there was no information about spa is extra charge but I wouldn’t pay even a pound for that experience. As a summary don’t waste your money for this rubbish hotel!
