The Chatsworth Hotel

George runs a lovely beachfront hotel. The location is great and the service was top notch. Happy to support a family owned business. Would gladly stay here again.

Can’t understand how this hotel is a 5* spa retreat rated at 9.2. Soundproofed junior suite is not soundproofed. You can hear all cars driving by. Leaky kettle, pg tips, dated furniture and bland beige decor. When challenged about noise staff were just rude and didn’t come to listen. £560 for a night. £60 taken off the bill. They have ignored our emails asking for more for 3 days. Soundproofed description should be changed. Avoid.

Not a 5 Star. No air con, no minibar, no dressing gown, no sleepers, no shower cup, no chest of drawer to unpack, no coffe machine. Fan in a bath was very loud at night no able to turn it off. Balcony was dirty. Balcony door needs fixing. Stained furniture, stained rug. We had a kid with us, no towel or tea cup for her were provided. Views was amazing, very warm in the room, decor in lobby corridor’s beautiful but room super out dated

We stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights. Lovely room with a jacuzzi bath. We were offered complimentary drinks due to the room not being ready at 3. Housekeeping ran out of time to visit us on the 2nd day which was a shame. Lovely views and location.

Amazing stay here at the hotel. Staff were super friendly and couldn't help enough. The hotel was modern with some nostalgic features like the old school elevator. Rooms were clean, spacious(really tall ceilings) as were the ensuites. Room was warm and presented cosy feel. Sea view room was great, at night we could hear the waves from the distance which was lovely to fall asleep to. To our surprise the hotel had a cot ready in the room for our under 1 year old baby, which was a pleasant, since we didn't specially request it, only in the booking it was written. Location was right outside the beach and 2 minutes walk from a variety of different cusine restaurants. Loads of parking available for 2£ a day. Entertainment was good, a TV was available with Amazon firestick built in, bed was cosy overall would definitely visit again and would recommend for a family or couple.

We stayed at the Chatsworth for an overnight while vising family. We were greeted at reception by Natalia who was very welcoming, smily, friendly & professional. After checking us in she show us to our room, such a lovely touch. Our room was beautiful & spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb & staff were very friendly & professional We highly recommend the hotel & will definitely stay there again.
