Royal Beacon Hotel

The clealiness of the bathrooms was not so good.The shower tray in the shower and tiles on walls had spots of mould on them. This however was reported to hotel staff and the situation was resolved by a generous goodwill gesture. The hotel staff were very professional, friendly and very helpfull throughout our stay. The room otherwise was very good and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good Too. So despite the problems in the bathrooms as stated above ,I would still recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. I would also stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.

For a family wedding. The staff were friendly, made me feel very welcome. Room comfortable. I’d book again.

What a wonderful stay we had, thank you so much! After a long drive, we were greeted with incredible friendly service and nothing was too much trouble. Fab with children and I felt very safe here holidaying alone with my young daughter. The view of the sea was beautiful and I loved the fact we could walk everywhere. Our room was spotless and we had fresh towels etc every day. Thank you for the warm, kind and professional service; it really did make our stay x

Was a nice stay. But they did not change sheets even though my baby pooped on the bed😅 I tried to wash it of, but it had yellow stains.

Stairs up to property meant travelling with baby and pram was difficult Tiny service lift out tiny cabin approved pram didn’t even fit in No hand soap given we had to hit washing up liquid Room was not cleaned in 3 days we were there even though staff had been In The room and removed bin one day - no fresh towels cups not changed clear no hand soap in bathroom still none given No nets/ frosting on glass which meant our sea view was pointless as we had to keep curtains closed most time to stop public looking into our room and bed it also meant the room was super hot Tiny window that opened meant room was not ventilated no fan or summer quilt Bathroom incredibly dated and yellow in colour through age not cleanliness only positive was the power of the shower Would not stay here again
