Stayed here with family for an event the day after. Rooms were a lovely size, nice and big. The beds are super comfortable and really big. View was out into the golf course which was lovely. Had my window open all night and could hear owls out and about doing their thing. Yes it’s slightly tired around the edges but for the price I paid I’m not complaining. My only gripe was a slight rumbling noise every minute or so throughout the night. Not sure if it was a boiler? Food was lovely. We only stayed for dinner but it was nice, prices reasonable and service was great. I need to come down again a few times over the next few months so will be back!

Overall ok. WiFi slow/ intermittent in my room. Disappointed with the inability to use the swimming pool after a long business trip wanting to relax and swim at the end of the day. The room card states pool access until 9pm but the pool was commandeered 100% by children / swim instructors although two lanes were partitioned for swimmers and sign clearly stated to swim in clock wise direction but I was promptly evicted by one of the instructors. Rather frustrating!

We had a fabulous time in one of the lodges. It was beautiful, clean and well equipped with great views across the golf course. We all slept really well in the comfortable beds and the rooms were adequately sized for a family. Nothing is too mich trouble at this hotel, the service was excellent. Staff on reception and at the health and wellbeing centre were really friendly and welcoming. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna and used them throughout our stay. The hotel and lodges are in a lovely countryside location but only a 10-15 minutes drive to the sea. We really couldnt fault it for a family break and would highly recommend.

As base to visit family and play some golf it was excellent. Woken one morning by a mower at 7am, was a little early!!!
