The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet (perfect to keep a sleeping toddler asleep!)

Perfectly acceptable overnight hotel whilst on business or picking your child up from uni! The Bare area and restaurant are nice and the service friendly. Prices are ery reasonable and food quality good. The room was comfortable, clean and in good condition with a decent sized smart TV. Only criticism was I'd specifically booked a double and ended up in room with a single and a double. No issue, but the double would not have been big enough to sleep 2 adults and the single was tiny - I'd have struggled to turn over without falling out! For one person though, it was a good hotel and I'll use again.

Scant welcome. Electronic key didn’t work to the first room I was allocated. Second room was a cobbled together’family’ room. Shower position hopeless. Breakfast at £15 dire (no decaf tea, had to ask for decaf coffee). Toast machine hopeless. Fried eggs cold.

Hotel is okay but not great for people travelling with children. We were travelling as a family with two small children under the age of 2 that required travel cots and we had to contact the hotel several times to check that our request for cots had been acknowledged. Also we had paid for breakfast, however when we arrived in the morning, we were told that they only had one high chair for the entire restaurant which resulted in one of us having to sit with a child on our knee. We saw several other families in a similar position, struggling to eat with small child on their lap due to no high chairs being available!

perhaps the worst customer service ever experienced and terrible management - should have their "Gold Exclusives" false tag removed because nothing about the stay was upgraded, special or "VIP" - no consideration for the fact that children were staying and claim the communications on the messaging platform were not from them

The hotel does not clean or tidy your room daily as a climate initiative, they don’t even empty the bins. we were not told this when checking in. We have a baby and not empty bins with nappies is not a pleasant experience.
