Had a great four day stay in the Salt Suite at Horsley Lodge. The rooms were lovely and the small kitchen area made making small meals and snacks for the kids easy. Breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the salt suite. The hotel closed its restaurant early as it was a very hot day. There was no food available and the bar had closed after playing golf (there were absolutely no facilities open). The fan in the children room was broken, under and around the beds was dusty and the carpets stained. The toilet/shower room had lots of cobb webs. My wife was served milk (with her morning tea) that was off. The golf course was wonderful and we had a lot of fun as a family. Otherwise the hotel stay itself was very disappointing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Horsely Lodge! The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The Salt Suite was very suitable for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. The grounds were beautiful. Everywhere was very clean. Convenient driving distance from various attractions - 50 mins to Alton Towers. Although this golfing hotel may not seem the obvious choice, we'd certainly recommend it for a family stay!

Lovely accommodation with incredibly helpful staff. The clubhouse had a nice bar and restaurant which served us breakfast and our evening meal. There was a good selection on the menu, which was very reasonably priced and really good quality. There was a nice bar which again wasn't expensive and was family friendly. We booked this last minute for a few days of activities with the family, it was ideal. Centrally located with both Alton Towers and the space centre less than an hours travel away. Would definitely recommend this to others wishing to stay in the area
