It was our first hotel stay with our 10 month old baby we were worried about being on top of each other and disturbing the baby but the room had plenty of space. I did book the larger room to be fair but we were delighted with it. The food in the bar was great we had lunch and dinner there, had the Sunday roast and a few picky bits. We had breakfast in the Palm court restaurant which is lovely, and great breakfast selection. My wife used the pool and the Japanese garden through the spa is lovely and relaxing. Would definitely book again.

We stayed at the hotel for my Daughters Spa/Hen party(family). We had the afternoon tea(with fizz), used the spa facilities and had treatments. We sampled the cocktails, evening meal and breakfast….what can I say “WOW” just fantastic hotel. Just stunning and the staff really can’t do enough for you. We all agreed the hotel and its facilities make this hotel the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back

Property booked as a present for my mum for Mother’s Day as have the pool and spa area. The pool times were incorrectly communicated to her so she was unable to use facilities as they were shut. The response was very blasé and not expected considering it was their error not hers. Also, children of all ages doing ‘gymnastics’ including hand stands against doors and around the bar area- how does this say relaxation for other guests and how can not a single staff member have said anything to the adults that were with them to advise this not safe or the done thing. This isn’t the experience I paid for and am really shocked and disappointed.

Lovely property, dining was great, a bit disappointed at breakfast when we asked for pastries were told theyre wasnt any left, however any top rated hotel would have gone out their way to get some for our children. Would definitely stay again but would prefer would like to see a luxury service for a luxury hotel

We stayed as a family of 4 with a 7 yr old and 5 month old. The family room was perfect for us and after promising a ‘posh’ hotel to my 7 yr old daughter, this did not disappoint. Great food at Nelsons pub and fantastic breakfast in the Palm Court restaurant with very friendly staff. It was so comfortable and the leisure facilities were great. We ended up asking to extend our stay. Would definitely return.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our wedding with family. My brand new sister in law has mobility issues so her needs were key. Hotel staff were kindness itself. The accessible room was excellent.special mention to Lottie Henry and Elle in the restaurant and Lorraine in the SPA.

If you’re a family staying don’t bothe! You’re shocked in the old part of the hotel dust and decrepid. Horrible couch bed for the kids, shoddy cupboards and wardrobes. You’ll walk through all the fancy hallways and then you realize you’re stuck in the back out of the way in an older part of the hotel, we tried to upgrade on the day to be told no you can’t! Really really disappointed with our stay...
