Great stay and great customer service at Malmaison. Was booked in for 2 nights but had to leave a day early due to a family issue. Even though booked through a third party Malmaison refunded my payment for the second night. Too many companies refuse to do this now. I will be returning.

Ideal for business trips. Nice location and professional. This is the 4th hotel in the area I've recently been at for work purposes and the best for it. Malmaison Oxford is a nice restaurant too. I haven't been to Brighton since I was a baby so can't remember visiting but this hotel is good if needing something more efficient. The other hotels in the area aren't as good. Good WiFi, restaurant and bar, nice room and good views by the waterfront.

We booked the Malmaison for a couple of nights away following our wedding. We chose the Malmaison because we wanted something a little special. A family member had upgraded our room for us which was a lovely surprise and we had a balcony. Our room was standard, comfortable but very basic and tired in places. The tv was put in such an awkward place you couldn't really see it and there was nowhere to hang your towels to dry them. We had a wardrobe (which was broken) but the majority of the space was taken up by a fridge that wasn't very effective and a safe. All in all we were quite disappointed if I am honest we expected more from a 4* hotel and the Malmaison being such a highly rated chain. Very overrated and definitely not worth he money to stay there .
