I was a female travelling on my own to visit family. I have stayed at this hotel several times. I find it convenient, clean, cheerful, friendly and i feel safe.

The Hotel was clean and staff helpful but when we came to eat they had run out of food. We came down about 7pm but they had just had two coach loads of children turn up for overnight stay which didnt help. We were told we didnt need to book so didnt.

Excellent! Stayed for 9 nights with my family visiting my family for Christmas. Very comfortable! Staff were great (Cecilia was amazing) and looked after us. Very good price and value for money! Would recommend and stay there again no question. Thank you Ibis Styles!

When I booked the family suit I was expecting two proper beds instead we got a double and a very uncomfortable bed settee. This had a metal bar going through the centre of it and a mattress that I could feel every spring it had. For £115 per night I was expecting a comfortable stay alas I cannot say that. I am a 60 yr old who has used your hotel prior and I have to say that this time I was very disappointed

The hotel is basic but we all know that when we book it, so that is a non issue. It is clean, well situated, and everything is as it should be to help you have a great stay. Pay for the breakfast because it is definitely worth it, with a very good selection of hot/cold items. Nice bar area and food options throughout the day. Brilliant staff look after you like you're family which is awesome! I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel was good value and where I needed it to be to visit family. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in extremely hard like sleeping on a board. And the body wash and shampoo in the shower were empty which was a bit annoying but I did have my own. If your looking for luxury then this is not your hotel but if your looking for cheap and convenient then it does the job.

Staying 2 nights whilst visiting family in Barnsley. Regular visitor. Very convenient for M1 and town centre, easy parking, staff always very friendly, nice showers, more than adequate if you are looking for reasonably priced sleep over only stay. The rooms are always very clean but they are looking a little tired now and could do with a lick of paint.

Stayed for one night as we were meeting family. Discovered that any family members that came to the hotel would have to register their cars or risk a fine. Bed was very hard! Not the best sleep in a hotel. Breakfast at 10am considering it didn’t close till 11am there was very little available. No juice as this had run out and no one replaced. Hotel manager looked scared to death when anyone approached, we actively got the impression of “don’t speak to me” from the look and burning her head into her computer. Cheap hotel but don’t expect anything magnificent.
