Great, whole family enjoyed!

A great welcome, friendly & great service. Within walking distance of family so good for an overnight stay or a few days. Would highly recommend, we'll be going there again.

I have stayed at the Bel and Dragon a few times and really like it. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, each slightly different with lovely touches like complimentary drinks and nice coffee in the room. The bedding is also great and the pillows perfect - something I think hotels overlook and really make the difference when it comes to sleeping well. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I stupidly left my phone in the room and they contacted me and arranged for it to be sent to me in Devon. I am looking forward to staying again soon with family visiting from the USA, I think they will love staying in such a beautiful old coaching inn. Highly recommend!

The hotel was lovely, the bunk beds a massive hit with the kids, friendly and helpful staff and a great restaurant too.

We had a big family gathering. 40.of us in all. We occupied 15 rooms between us and the Bel and Dragon did an excellent buffet, catering for us all including Vegan and coeliac. The food was excellent, the staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless and very nice. I would highly recommend The Red Lion / Bel and Dragon. Thankyou all for making our day so special
