The hotel was clean, the staff were polite, clientele appeared to be more so business men/women so no other children. The room wasn’t anything special considering this was a Hilton compared to a premier inn or travel lodge hotel. Although clean. The adult bed was extremely hard and both adults had sore backs the next day very uncomfortable waking up hourly and uncomfortable tossing and turning. The sofa bed was even worse. Was like sleeping on the floor. No mattress effect, our little boy was up at 5am as he was uncomfortable in the sofa bed.

Worst service I've ever experienced with upsetting consequences. We requested a baby cot by email in advance for our 1 year old baby. The property confirmed that it wouldn't be a problem. We arrived a few hours before a family wedding for check in and were told that it won't be possible because they're all in use already. We would have booked another place had we known this would happen. When we asked the girl at reception for assistance, we were told that it's our problem. We asked to speak with the manager and we were told that the answer from her would be the same. Eventually the girl at reception said the housekeeping manager would come and assist us in 5 minutes. We were made to wait for over an hour. Eventually, when we asked if the housekeeping manager would come, we were told she's busy doing her job. The only person the acknowledged us politely was the porter in the bar. In the end we missed the wedding ceremony and gave up on waiting for someone to offer us a solution. Fortunately we managed to borrow a travel cot from one of the other guests at the wedding breakfast and had somewhere for our baby to sleep. The next day the reception offered to wipe the parking fee from our bill, and from the bill of my brother and father's room - £4 discount per bill - however, yesterday my brother was just sent a £100 penalty for unpaid parking in the carpark.

Breakfast very tasty. The chief Thomas very nice and cooked the fried eggs for my 3 years old girl. Very good service and nice people. Room is clean and convenient, Waitrose right next to the hotel so I decided to stay longer for my family holiday 👍

Arrived and was mad uneasy by the struggle to locate our family room from booking list. Got to the room to find no sofa bed made up. Reported to reception and theybsaid they would sort. We got 2 knocks on the door and was left a bag to do it ourselves (pic below). Trouble was no sheets, no quilt covers etc so reported this another 5 times to reception to be told short staff and had problems all day. I told them not good enough for a £150 a night stay when a Premier inn is half tht and they are more than helpful. When leaving reception to go back to room another guest came down and said her family room was also not made up!!!! Ok for 2 but anymore be wary.
