Siam Mandarina Hotel

Great stay! We stayed one night. The upgrade us for a family room with two rooms. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

We booked for a family of four but when we got there they only had one double bed for us. they brought a rollaway bed for my 16 year old but the 11 year old had to sleep on a very uncomfortable couch, not good value for the money. Would not recommend or stay here again for this price.

No hot water in suite for more than 22 h! When hot water was restored after 22 h, we only had it only in shower/tub. It was suggested I shave over the bath tub! Finally we changed rooms. Depite agreeing to compensate me for the inconvience of me and 4 family members, they ignored their commmitment made by reception personnel. Major language barrier.

Sadly this stay was a total disaster. We arrived at 2am, with a young child, desperately needing to get him into bed. We handed over passports, and were casually told that air conditioning was not working, and immediately offered a refund. Why didn’t they tell us in advance It started a few week ago I guess: weeks before the booking, they lose our Expedia booking and ask us to reconfirm our booking, ID, and how much we paid. It was confusing and unexpected and felt like a scam. For two days before arriving no emails answered at all. Then on the day of landing they don’t answer the phone. We were honestly worried they would have our booking at all. We headed there anyway, not much you can do at 2am. The lobby and toilets are very old and run down, we probably dodged a bullet here! Manager told us he’d get us a taxi and a room at another hotel. Despite the other hotel being half the price, we agreed. No offer of compensation. We waited ages (over an hour now) and eventually got bundled into a shared van. They kept slowly piling more and more people in, eventually asking us to shove over and fit five on a row of 3. Hardly 5 star behaviour; we decided to abandon and got out. We then made our way alone to the new hotel to be given a standard room (we previously had a suite so our child could sleep on the sofa). Absolutely totally terrible and utterly disorganised. At least we got a refund in the end.

Decent property only because the airport is nearby We were traveling with a infant and they charged us 500 baht per day for a crib Restaurant had a lot of things out of stock Basically.. only stay here if you are in the rush to the airport in the am Other then that get a hotel that doesn’t charge a ridiculous price for a crib.. like every other nice hotel So get a nicer hotel for the same price !!!

Very Basic room with single bathroom for 2 room family room. Clean room with basic limited amenities. Restaurant open 24 hours - food was average but good for a late arrival as there are no other options in the area. Breakfast not included in the room and cost additional. Overall okay to stay here with like lowered expectations.

The hotel staff where very friendly spoke excellent English, the family room we stayed in although was very clean was a bit dated but overall was a very enjoyable stay.

It’s a great place to stay with your friends and family.

Room was perfectly fine, service decent, breakfast overall good bar the cheese which was not fresh. The big issue is if I’m taking a family into a large suite for an overnight layover, the main thing you want is a decent night of sleep. Unfortunately the room was positioned right at the front of the property and overnight noise (motorcycles primarily regularly going up and down the road made it almost impossible (even with earplugs) to get a decent rest.
