OZO Phuket

This resort was absolutely beautiful, in a central location, great for families. The staff were amazing, breakfast was lovely. I think there should be a dress code put into place though, especially around the kids pool and pool with the water slide. Alot of swimwear worn by women was inappropriate (if you can even call it swimwear) and children should not be exposed to such nudity. Unfortunately most of the tourists who stayed at this resort the same time as our family lacked respect for others and I'm certain most of the Russian women thought they were at a modelling contest rather than a family holiday destination. Perhaps management could review dress code rules.

Main issue i have requested connecting rooms, because of traveling with 3 small but kids, but when arrived to the hotel they had us side by side. They wanted more money for connecting rooms, saying they are selling it....Doesnt seem fair to me. This made it very hard to manage, especially at night. Also rooms are very small, and the day bed is impossible for a kid over the age of 6 to sleep in it, although they are selling the king side bed room suitable for 3 people. Food was very good, and location was in a prime location.

The location is perfect in Kata, easy access for everything from the markets to the beach. The staff were wonderful and we couldn’t recommend ozo more to anyone looking to stay in the area especially with a young family

Super hotel that is excellent for kids. Our two-year old could have spent all day, every day by the pool. With three pools, including splash park and slides, there was loads to keep him entertained. Our room was in great condition, with plenty of space. Shower water leaked a little under the glass door onto the bathroom floor, otherwise fantastic. The breakfast was brilliant, extensive with a range of different options. We loved the fruit and there was fresh noodle soup cooked on the spot. Lots of other activities to keep children entertained, including movies every night. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and great with our little boy. It was great to see the efforts at sustainability, too.

Fantastic hotel with lovely pools. Including 2 slides (1 small, 1 slightly bigger). Room was very good, the staff were excellent and breakfast had a great selection. It’s location is perfect with a 5 min walk to the beach x highly recommend particularly for families with small children

Excellent hotel, mainly due to the excellent staff EG Naan on reception. Recommend for families, big pool and mini water park which my kids enjoyed a lot. Food was good, a little repetitive though. Near the beach, just a 5 minutes walk out the back gate. Across the road from walking street, so lots close. A couple of things to note: Drainage ditch disects the property - maybe cover this up? The floor of the children's pool is very rough and causes grazing of the skin very easily. Russians dominate this property and the resort. Make of that what you will. I recommend this hotel, clean and well run.

Great family-friendly hotel. Breakfast in the morning was great. Water park was addictive to kids. Will certainly repeat if I come to Kata Beach/Phuket in the future!

Our first family trip with two children (10 & 5) to Phuket. The hotel was just as described and we had a wonderful 7 nights. The breakfast buffet was well catered and the dining options in thailand around the area don’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if visiting Phuket !

Good location, good service, good food and amazing pools for the kids

The hotel is nice and spacious family hotel. It has 2 pools, one for kids with a playground. And another one which is bigger bit not too deep. The breakfast at the restaurant was great, lots of choice and good food. In general the food throughout the day was okay, we ate there several times. Service was good, sometimes slow. Every other day a cinema evening with different food choices are offered for kids. Improvement points are the smelly glas surface of the tables and dirty pillows at the chairs - this should be definitely changed. The rooms are clean and depending on the category have a balcony. The issue in the rooms is that the air conditioning blows you in the face all the time if you’re in bed, this was very annoying, so we basically had to sleep without AC cause it was not manageable with it. What was as well a pity, that we asked for 2 additional towels, and after the next cleaning they were gone again. Cotton pads etc were never refilled in the bathroom. And floors in the building are cleared with something which has a strong and unpleasant smell. In genera service was good, the only thing we were not happy with at all, is that after a 2 weeks stay the late check out had to be paid for. And that there was no flexibility with price while we extended, the hotel management was not able to go with the online price. The beach is 5 mins walk and it is great there. And restaurants & bars are across the street. We can recommend that hotel for a family with kids stay!
