Centara Kata Resort Phuket

Great stay at Centara Kata. The 2 bedroom family suite is perfect space for a family of 4, offering privacy and space to connect. Staff great, special thanks to Nan for all your help prior to and during our stay.

It was OK. It's looking a bit tired in places and it's not a grand beach centara but overall for the price it was OK. A few points to raise. We indulged in the seafood buffet on a Thursday evening. Apparently "eat as much as you can" - this was not the case we were served 1 squid, 6 or 7 prawns when more prawns were requested we waited for 30 minutes another waitress bought a squid to our table so we asked again but they never arrived so we left.... Staff too interested in looking after large tipping guests, which is a shame. Our child loved the pools so that kind of made up for our so called seafood buffet!

My family and i loved our stay here staff went above and beyond.. my wife has a prosthetic leg and the staff were so accommodating set us up on a easy acces room put non slip.mats through the room and chair in the shower... the staff were amazing and always had a smile lots of great activities like bingo by the pool and heaps of games for the kids around the pool .... the buffet breakfast is top notch and the food in general delicious... the 3 pools super clean and perfect for a play for the kids or relax for the adults... kids club was fun my daughter begged us to go Daily and the staff in there were super caring...overall fabulous experience location is perfect lots of cool local food and massage places for mum and dad all within walking distance... best experience ive had for a long time at a resort... we cant wait to return and highly recommend centara....

A total family resort. Older property and needs refreshing. Staff is amazing.

Great for kids and adults , happy hour from 4pm at the pool bar , bar staff are great have a proper laugh learning Thai with them

Hotel is clean and comfortable. 3 pools in the hotel and one of the biggest pool is good for children with water slide.

As a person who is blind. The staff here made my stay amazing! From the accommodations and assistance, to the three pools to choose from, water slide, breakfast buffet, gym, and being a ten minute walk from Kata beach. This place was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend for anyone from single person traveler's to whole families to come stay. Some friends stayed at a hotel on the beach and it wasn't nearly as nice as this one.

We have travelled to Thailand many times and stayed at many hotels, but honestly, this must rate as one of the most amazing stays ever. Although the rooms are a little dated, the facilities are beautiful, the food outstanding and the staff friendly and efficient. The hotel caters wonderfully for young children. The location is excellent with lovely restaurants close by and the beach just a short walk away.

Stayed for 9 nights with our children aged 6 and 9. They loved the swimming pools which were well maintained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, catering for a wide range of nationalities. Our room was cleaned to a high standard every day.
