The surrounding environment is very good. The hotel staff was very helpful and informative. Pity that the one family who stayed here was very noisy. The kids ran and screamed on the hallway and no body said anything.

This is a family run hotel and the staff really friendly. Hotel appears new I would say 3-4 years old. It's a bit of a distance away from both of Sun Moon Lakes main areas, but the bus stops at the bottom of the hill of the hotel so really no problems getting around. All the rooms face the lake and the scenery is excellent. Breakfast is plentiful and well stocked. Grounds are clean and no charge to use the bicycles, which there are plenty of. The staff really makes you feel welcomed. BTW this standard for all of Taiwan.
