Amazing stay we had at Hotel Balm in Meggen. Only one bus ride away from Lucerne main station. Our room is a family size room and it is very spacious. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast Is The Best out of all the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland for 2 weeks. Such generous variety and freshly served. The hotel does not have lift but Our hostess at check in lobby was most helpful with our heavy luggage. I would highly recommend Hotel Balm to anyone visiting Lucerne.

Property is in a secluded area but only 15mins by bus to Lucerne city. It is perfect if you drive around the area but do not want to drive into Lucerne city center. The property itself is clean but very old school. They also charged chf20 per day for an infant which basically cost nothing extra

Nice quiet place to stay with family. It is apox 15 min away from main area but its worth the stay and has direct access from bus services. Its not a typical hotel and gives one a feeling of staying at home. Friendly staff with big clean rooms and bathroom. Only suggestion is that complimentary amenities like tea, coffee should be provided to guests. Would definitely like to come back for a stay
