Ameron Luzern Hotel Flora

This property is close to the Chapin Bridge. We stayed at this property as our homebase which was a perfect location. We added breakfast which was very convenient for my family and I.

Good stay, small rooms for family of 3. Staff can be friendlier to tourist keeping their business going.

It was an amazing hotel with most of all amenities, very close to the station and chappel bridge - every else was perfect except the fact that we felt the airconditioning wasnt working well so we requested a fan and it was given promptly. Comfortable stay for a family though we did not get any view from our room. free minibar was a plus inside the room - orange juice inside was top notch!

perfect location an easy walk from the station nd across the street from the Chapel bridge. the attached restaurant has outside pavement seating a a lovely menu. recommended for families and couples. and the mall under the station has a great supermarket!!

Great location, very clean, but so loud, and I'm a mom with 4 kids still at home that play loud instruments and come in late. We stayed two nights. The first night we were awoken to a presumably drunk person screaming outside the hotel - not the hotel's fault, but the downside to being to close to everything. Morning was quiet though, as it was a holiday. The second overnight (after the Good Friday holiday) we were awoken before our 7:15am alarms by laundry and slamming. Turns out we were right across from the laundry room. Also, unfortunately, we were right next to the stairs, so the heavy doors were slamming shut there as well. Finally, we may have also been above the loading docks - it was hard to tell as there was an awning covering the view - but we could see trucks and hear glass bottles being shuttled in and out alongside other deliveries. I mentioned the noise at the front desk at check out and they apologized and offered us a bottled drink to take with us and said laundry does indeed start at 7am and they will remind them to be quieter in the future. Very nice gesture, but considering we have 36 hours of travel ahead of us we were really hoping for at least one night of restful sleep. Also of note: The tub/shower combo was constructed in a way that made egress tricky - higher shower floor than the main bathroom floor, with a deep tub and a glass shower door, so getting out required some care that I would advise would not be safe for older or shorter guests.

Excellent location. Very central but not noisy. The hotel room was on the small size (not much room with double bed and a bed for a child) but it was comfortable. The room was clean enough. Nice touches to provide sweets, a stool and a bath mat for the children. Staff were very friendly on check-in and when helping us with plans. The extra bed provided was a bit squeaky, so if your child moves a lot, you might want to swap with them!
