Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto

Staff wasn’t overly friendly but for one night it was nice enough to where we’d use it again. We opted for the junior suite which turned out nice but not any bigger than a typical US room. We walked 20 minutes to a neighborhood and ate at a local pizza place (Can Pizza) which was awesome. Overall very convenient for post cruise stay.

Not particularly close to either the airport or the city, but OK access to both. Food was good, but no kid friendly options

The airport shuttle driver drove like she stole the bus ...no stopping for stop signs no slowing down for corners and was deliberately trying to make the luggage bang the side of the trunk . She should not be driving people . She endangered the life of my baby . 6am roads empty no traffic no reason for driving dangerously .

Great property for a quick stay near the Barcelona airport. It’s new, or newly renovated, and family friendly. The amenities for this type of hotel are vey good. The property also did a great job of camouflaging the grounds so that the fact that you’re basically in an industrial park near the airport isn’t obvious. I had breakfast at the hotel and the food was very good. The only down side to this hotel is that it’s about a $25 cab ride to get to any place in downtown Barcelona. If you need a hotel for a quick overnight stay before you flight, even with kids, this is the place.

The bar was understaffed and service was slow. It was very noisy with children screaming and playing. Otherwise, the hotel facilities were excellent.

The wallls are very thin and some guests are noisy whit crying children , etc etc .

The same person who checked us in and checked us out took care of our needs lke we are family. Very accomodating. His name is Daniel!

It’s a nice hotel but would dispute it being an ‘airport’ Hotel as it is some distance. Also airport hotels usually have 24 restaurants or food as customers are coming and going. Restaurant was shut when we arrived at 4.30 and opened again at 8.30. No food beyond bags of crisps until then. As such we asked about local restaurants - none in the area as it’s a warehouse district. So we went on the nearby metro three stops to a commercial zone. It was okay but with tired and hungry toddlers a restaurant that is closed from 4pm-8pm was a bit inconvenient. It’s clean and good for one night over.

The room was comfortable and accommodated our family well. We chose this for the adequate beds and airport shuttle

Great care offered to my Mother who is a senior citizen with a small dog - the Front Desk staff assisted not only with the smooth check-in process, but also accompanied my mom to her room helping with the dog and luggage. The double room is specious and the facilities are really great for families traveling with small pets. We also loved the Shuttle service to the Airport - reliable and kind driver. Appreciation for the fantastic service provided by ALL departments. This is my 2nd stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto and I will be back again. Side note - the love for the small pets is notable in this hotel and my recommendation is to provide a small detail for the dogs/cats, even if it has an extra charge.
