Arc la Rambla

First of all the location is perfect. It’s literally on La Ramblas at the bottom end. Perfect for walking or for taking the Metro. Secondly, the entire hotel is spotlessly clean and our room (we had a junior suite with balcony) was spacious, comfortable and practical. Thirdly, the staff are approachable, friendly and super helpful. And lastly the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. This is our 6th stay in Barcelona and was the nicest place we’ve stayed. We’ll be back to this hotel.

This hotel is not kids friendly. A man that seems to be like a manager or supervisor was making all kind of rude noises and looking at the kids in our group in a wrong way. It seem to us that the kids bothered him. The kids ages were 2 babies 1yr old and a 6yr. The hotel also doesnt have goodies in the room in case you forget your shampoo, lotion, shower hat, etc. you have to ask for the iron and they will question why you need to iron your clothes. There is no costumer service what so ever.

My family needed a hotel for two days pre-cruise. We planned on doing some sightseeing, shopping, beach, and of course dining while in Barcelona. Arc la Rambla was close to the Port, and in a great area for walking! We arrived very early and the room was understandably not ready. However, were able to change, lock up (way too much) luggage in lockers for 2euro each, and head out to take the hop on hop off bus which is walking distance. The beach was walking distance as well. As was La Boqueria for shopping, dining. And a great Flamenco show three blocks up… but I digress. We had a triple room on 2nd floor. Plenty of space, standard beds, no view but a/c was great. Breakfast was very good, nice selection for everyone and awesome coffee. We actually stayed again, post-cruise, for one day in the loft room with patio (two stories) - room 509. (This time they locked up all our luggage for free!) This room came with bathroom amenities, shower cap, toiletries, toothbrush kit etc. and we had a whole sun patio to ourselves. We asked front desk if we could get tea somewhere late evening, and they gave us a whole set up with kettle, cups, teabags sugar etc. Great service, great location (it can be a little bit weird late night but we didn’t stay out past say 10 or 11), and great amenities! I’d stay again.

Not sure why this hotel has mixed reviews. We booked a junior suite and it was well priced and spacious. Step outside and you’re in a huge tourist area, walk a few blocks and you’re out of it. Subway near by. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and affable. Breakfast had a lot of options. No trouble sleeping through the night. Would rebook anytime I’m in the area.

The hotel is in perfect location. You can walk almost to anything from there. The breakfast was very good. The staff is friendly. The junior suit is huge. The only drawback is the view of another building and some construction. We really love the hotel!
