Catalonia Port

Excellent customer service and amazing location. We appreciated the extra attention from the agent at reception. We travelled as a family with 2 kids (2 and 4 years old) and we booked triple room, but the agent at check-in right away suggested another room that would fit us better (queen with sofa bed). It turned out great and the room was pretty big contrary to the typical European rooms. The location was great, within walking distance to the beach, Ramblas, gothic quarter, restaurants and shopping. I recommend this hotel.

The junior suite with private roof terrace and pool is beautiful. There is a pleasing view over the port from the far side of the terrace but for the most part you have a satisfying, exclusive position nestled amongst the rooftops of nearby buildings. One slight negative is that there aren’t any outdoor lights around the pool so you may bathe in the dark at night time. The bathroom was high spec and luxurious whilst the the bedroom area was perfectly adequate. Aside from the rooftop terrace the next best thing about this hotel is its location right upon the gothic quarter meaning restaurants and bars are nearly instant for you when you venture out.
