Andante Hotel

Having read a few reviews on places in Barcelona, the theme of noise came up quite a lot. This is partly why we picked the Andante along with what looked like a clean, modern and well located hotel and we weren't disappointed. It was a lovely quiet hotel. Rooms and communal areas were bright and clean and the staff were helpful. The location is great - close to the metro, the Gothic quarter and the harbour. Travelling with two children, we had a family room where we could keep the doors open between the rooms. The beds were really comfortable and the facilities were great. The view from the pool is amazing, even if it was a little cold for swimming in April. The staff were really helpful and we were able to leave our luggage on the last day and use the hotel facilities up until the time of our flight. Would recommend this hotel to others looking to explore the city for a few days.

Great stay. We traveled with our older children and the team gave us two interconnected rooms which allowed us to access each other’s rooms easily. The hotel team were friendly and efficient and the rooms were clean and modern. The location is excellent too.

This hotel has lots of positives; super modern, great breakfast, cosy beds and v clean. Staff lovely. Hotel itself is great. Only issue is the area; you can walk to many sights within 20 mins which is great BUT if you literally turn right out of the hotel doors the area is super unsafe with many people sleeping rough and lots of police. If you turn left and head straight towards Las Ramblas it is fine but at night directly next to hotel feels uncomfortable. Just mindful with a family that I would say area did not make us feel safe and next time I would rather stay away from south of Las Ramblas. The hotel door even remains locked so they must aware of area not being ok. Shame as hotel itself is lovely and modern for a short break.

Front desk was very helpful, and friendly. Great views from the rooftop, walking distance to Las Ramblas. Metro is close by. Very clean and nice place to stay with family.

Breakfast is so nice for my family to enjoy fresh & healthy ingredient every morning. Location is near to main attractive places in town and very close to subway station (Drassanes).

Nasty neighborhood. Drug addicts and homeless people surrounding the hotel. The pool is more like a splashing pond for kids. No coffee In the room,no bathrobes.

The hotel was totally alright, especially the service/staff. The kids were very happy with the pool which was on the roof top :o) The neighborhood was somewhat scary but other than that was the hotel smartly located.

The hotel was nice, great for families. One thing I would mention is that there isn’t a refrigerator in the room. They have a very nice breakfast. The rooftop offers a great view but the pool is small and not heated. The hotel has a great location and is quiet at night. I like their commitment to sustainability.

Good hotel, we had an excellent family room, 2 connecting double rooms, plenty of space. Clean, good condition, comfortable. Very dark corridors. Staff all friendly and helpful. Swimming pool smaller than we expected. Too small to use if any other family are there at same time. Location is good. Lots of eateries and shops close by. Short walk to Rambla. Longer walks to port and beaches. Metro station few minutes away. Taxis outside always ready.

Strategically located, friendly staff, functional rooms. The facilities are designed with adults in mind (the pool is definitely not for kids) but it’s perfect for young people
