Aloft Seoul Myeongdong

We had a really comfortable and wonderful stay on our family trip with our toddler. Staff is very helpful and friendly and the suite we had allowed for us to create another room for our toddler. Only downside is there aren’t toddler beds or pack and plays available so we brought our own but that’s the case with other hotels in the area as well. Our room was beautiful, had great views and was attended to well. If you’re looking to stay in Gangnam I highly recommend this hotel!

Booked a suite for a family stay, although small we reallocation enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable and a great location. Only negative to note was the bathroom light. Due to bathroom design, the bathroom light piercers through the glass into the bedroom, even with door shut so make going to the bathroom during the night very bright, likely waking whoever is in bed. Otherwise, everything really good.

Like - The staff are friendly and approachable. Helped us in many ways including helping us to find and liaise with the clinics/ hospital (as our child was sick when we arrived Seoul), helping us to call for taxis and asking about our stays whenever we walk pass them - There is a water dispenser (not sure if it applies for every floor, but at least on our level) - Convenient (just right at the Myeongdong shopping area, near to Lotte Departmental Store. 5-10mins walk to Myeongdong station) Improvement: - While it is perfect for business travellers and couples, the only negative for us is that the lighting at the bathroom shines onto the bedroom when it is switch on. We needed to sneak into bathroom (& bath) every night without lights on as we have a child sleeping in the bedroom.

Everything was great. Minor complain was I had requested for connecting rooms. But only upon arrival I was told the rooms I chose do not have connecting room options. Such information should be made known during booking as we were traveling with kids and needed the connecting room.
