Hotel28 Myeongdong

We loved this hotel. It feels hip and fun, and it’s smack in the middle of all the action of Myeongdong. Yet somehow none of the street noise made it into our room, we slept like babies. The hotel staff is so kind and pointed us to some delicious dinner options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Seoul. It’s centrally located, you can walk to tons of places, and more neighborhoods are just a quick metro away.

I loved the movie theme, with free popcorn, ear plugs, and the gratis snack bar that included a beer, soju, shikye, and a coke refilled daily. The service and ambience are top-notch. Our entire family loved it and deserved it's high ratings.

We spent our final 2 nights in Seoul here and it was a delightful stay with having adjoining rooms to separate kids and parents.

Location, location! Right in the heart of Myeongdong The staff are very professional and polite and speak a good standard of English. The Hotel is a small boutique hotel located in an unbeatable location with shopping, restaurants, pubs and subway right on your door step. The room is extremely clean and functional. The room was decorated in a modern industrial cool chic with movie and theatre touches. I chose a room with no view as I prefer a quite room, and it delivered on all fronts, it has a view of the next building but it was very very quiet, so I was happy. The room has everything you need. Air conditioning/heating, safe, loads of storage, hairdryer, mini bar which is included in the room price. I like the fact that the toilet was separate from the shower. The toilet is one of those fancy toilets that does everything for you, lucky the control panel is in English and there is a translation template for other nationalities. The shower recess could fit a whole family, it is huge and clean with a choice of rain shower head or hand held shower head and also nice quality toiletries. The bed is huge, the linen is lovely, the pillows and doona are very soft but the bed unfortunately is on the hard side.
