Divi Little Bay Beach Resort

I would say this is the most terrible experience I had as a frequent traveler. I went to Divi little Bay beach resort as this is an “an inclusive”. Although I paid the all inclusive price, I was stopped from ordering if I wanted an extra appetizer or extra entree even though it’s an “all inclusive”. This is disgusting and there are no buffets at all. I came to Saint Martin last year, a different resort and had a great time so I decided to come to same island, different resort but never again. Why am I being stopped for a service I paid for? This is truly disgusting and an evil way to control what I paid for. I didn’t steal, I straight up paid for it. Also I brought my 3 year old toddler who was also charged adult fee when I investigated further. The cherry on the cake- toddlers are difficult to deal with. My toddler didn’t want to eat his dinner so I figured I’ll take it to the room and feed him upstairs. The waitress ( older lady, heavyset, Dominican) started showing me the policy and saying she cannot give me a container. Then she started to let the other waiters know to not give me a tray for my toddler. This is truly disgusting. The restaurant was called seabreezs restaurant and bar. I complained to the manager who listened to me. I should be redeemed for my toddler or something. How are you charging an adult fee and then not giving his food to go in a container if he doesn’t want to eat at the restaurant. Someone help me because this is unfair and disgusting and unjust.

Best family stay! I had an older family member and a child accompanying me on the trip and the resort was suitable for EVERYONE!!! We had a blast, this was the best beach we had ever been to so far!!! And we have been to many beaches around the world.

We had a wonderful week at the Divi Little Bay in Sint Martin. The resort and staff were outstanding. They call St. Martin the friendly island and they live up to this reputation. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with our little ones, we traveled with out 11 year old and 14 month baby. The resort was beautiful, with a great selection of pools and beautiful views of the beach and bay. The resort is located at the foot of Fort Amsterdam, which we were able to get up to with our stroller to enjoy the panoramic views of both bays. Tony gave a great walking tour of Philipsburg, many thanks! The food was wonderful! We loved the Wednesday lobster night and the hot lava nights where you cook your food on a hot stone! Wonderful and memorable vacation. We always felt very safe and welcome at the Divi. I highly recommend for anyone wishing to visit. We always had an easy time finding seats with umbrellas/shade covered and enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to run out at 5 in the morning to reserve spots, like you have to do at other resorts. Excellent all around and highly recommend visiting!

Great place...very family friendly...there just arent that many family friendly resorts in the Caribbean, but this is a gem. The location is great...and the beaches are pristine. Would def come back.

This is a great resort whether if its just for a couple's getaway or for family. Good central location for everything but I recommend renting a car if you want to get off the resort. Room was clean and the beach has a great snorkeling area. We'll be back!

For our family vacation, it was perfect. The only thing I can say negatively is that they are lacking staff at the restaurants. Waiting for almost 2 hours at every meal is not acceptable.

The property was very clean. The staff is very friendly. It was very family friendly. The bars were well stocked. They had a great variety of foods to eat

Beautiful resort!, lots of pools for everybody. Separate pools for family and adults only. Only few staff on their concierge can use some friendliness and work with their customer service better. Overall, a great resort

Pros—Great property, location is beautiful, I found it to be clean, not crowded and beautiful. Staff was very pleasant, great with children, great amenities with regards to the activities and rentals, front desk I found to be helpful on a few occasions. Cons- absolutely would be the food. Service is definitely as slow as you’ll read in the other reviews. I found that was more unique to being helped for the first time. If you politely advocate for yourself I found the rest to be acceptable. But for me I struggled to find a meal I enjoyed. Breakfast was decent but I was unhappy with all food options and would choose to eat off resort of I stayed again. Main issue is it just appeared to be inexperienced chefs preparing it. And they would run out of options by noontime sometimes (Cuban sandwich or mint for mojito) daily with no plan for the next day. I’m not lying when I say this is the first vacation I lost weight. Beach towels are scarce if offsite laundry is late, but only ran into this 1 day and there are plenty of room towels in a pinch Summary- overall I’d visit again because I did enjoy the resort itself and location but would not eat at the resort unless it was breakfast only and prices were more reasonable. Not worth the all inclusive price unless you’re drinking alcohol quite a bit and even then it may not be worth it. Easily fixable if they care to do so

This is our 2nd stay at Divi Little Bay and this time we brought our teenagers and 2 other families joined us. Overall it was wonderful. The rooms are very clean and the food is good. They did seem to be a bit short staff and food took a long time. Way longer than island time. Lunch at one point took 2.5 hours.Most of the staff worked hard and was pleasant. The breakfast staff always seemed annoyed to be there and they were out of plates, glasses, bacon etc at times but I think it’s because they were short staffed. It would be nice to have a quick pick up and go breakfast place that’s part of the all inclusive such as bagels and muffins. We would be at breakfast a long time waiting for coffee and to sign the check. I did feel bad for the staff at times because they seemed overworked. We meet so many lovely staff such as Leroy, Devon, Stevie, Andrew that made our stay so wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful family vacation and we hope to be back.
