Swissôtel Al Maqam Makkah

I was unable to check in my room till 7:30 in the evening. I had 2 young kids with me. Room not ready till very late further. My umrah got disturbed.

This is a good hotel for individual and family travelers. Proximity to the Holy Mosque is great, and a prayer hall within the facility is even greater. Wide variety of TV channels for the family. Food was average in terms of diversity and quality. Provision should be made for USB charge point in the room and escalator service should be improved especially before and after prayer times. Will stop by again.

The Bedding in the room had stains, It wasn't cleaned to a great standard as when i arrived there was some bits on the carpet clearly not hoovered. The amount of money you spent for this hotel its really not worth it. The Breakfast buffet lacked a selection of foods and was always so busy. The dinner was also terrible, with a limited selection of foods which were very bland. There was no drinks available and when asked for a tea to add milk there was a charge. This property said Half Board that's not what half board is normally some sort of soft drinks are included. i Found that at check out the staff wasn't very friendly either. The whole service was quite poor from start to finish, especially when we had a small baby with us, no extra care or attention was given to help and i wouldn't stay there again.

Facilities, Rooms & in hotel services are perfect. Our family always stays here. It will be great if we can make early booking for our next trip (as of now we can’t make reservations for Ramadan)
