Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency Makkah

I always stay in Hyatt Regency when I visit Makkah. There are countless reasons but few of them are managements, other staffs, location and the hotel itself. By the way, this is my seventh years and I strongly recommend Hyatt Regency Makkah for families, groups and individuals.

When I book in Jabal Omar Hayyat Regency for 2 night 6+7 Dec , I received email by hotel. Con as confirmation mentioned 4 single bed because I put 2 adult +2 child. And when I reached hotel and during check _ in they told me your booking is only for 2 !!!?? And after many tries they give me 3 bed only. Then I complain to hotel manager then for 2nd night they give me 4 beds. Why my stay in hotel for 1st night not matching my booking for total guest 4, and it's mentioned in the confirmation email 4 beds and I got 3 bed only. I feel not OK for this matter. Then after discousion with hotel reservation . They told your booking only 2 bedroom.

Boutique hotel located directly across the haram with easy access by elevator. The rooms were clean and well designed and had interconnected rooms which the staff happily arranged for us. Breakfast buffet was really good with too many options for the whole family. There is also a mall downstairs which has several levels with stores and restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

We have made a booking for 2 twin beds sleeps four and at the time of checkin the hotel offered 3 single beds and asked us to adjust or pay extra SAR 4600 to upgrade to studio. Eventually I had to pay to make sure the family sleeps well and ended pay SAR 17k. Good strategy to make more money when they know we are on Umrah tour.
