Movenpick Hotel Doha

The hotel is near the airport and around the corner from the national museum. So the location is good. However, it appears to be an old hotel and needs renovation. We also checked in late in the early morning hours with a kid and asked for a late checkout. Our request was denied and we were asked to pay a late check out fee to stay until 6pm. I understand the standard check in and check out rules apply. But they could have allowed us an extra hour or two until 7-8pm considering (a) I am a member of Accor; (b) we paid for the late check out until 6pm; (c) we checked in the same day in the morning and didn’t even stay overnight; (d) we were with a 6 year old kid transiting between very long flights; (e) the hotel did not seem to be busy at all. I will not book it again.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Movenpick Hotel, Corniche road in Doha. everyone was very hospital to us: at the reception Sonia, Haifa , Ryan, James and Shiva were very helpfull to us and gave us excellent services. In the restaurant: Urmila, Judith and Roman were also very kind and gave us excellent services. also great services and tips for sightseeings from Ranjeet Varma. thank you all for a wonderfull time we had in your Hotel and we will certainly come again and let our friends and family advise to stay at your Hotel. Nice place for a family trip or a solo move . hotel is calm and quite, You will hardly know people are staying in the rooms, Room is very spacious.shot fall no socket on bedside, have to move to reading desk to charge phone
