Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli

Perfect location for exploring the soul literally on your doorstep, walkable to the Islamic museum which is stunning and set in Mia park. Walkable in minutes to the metro link at Souq waqif which links underground to the main metro on the red line. Metro upper easy, safe and cheap to get around. The hotel is made up of 8 buildings around the soul and the hotel provide golf carts to move to different ones to use different facilities ie pool etc.,, we stayed in Al Bidda for the rooftop terrace junior suite which was amazing. Breakfast really good and service and staff super friendly and helpful. If a pool holiday your thing maybe choose a hotel with this as the centre point but if culture, quality and service and a taste of Doha this should be your top pick.

This is one of many other hotels in Souq wagif area. We reserved two rooms and we mistakenly informed the hotel of our arrival time 11 PM instead of AM. We are a family of 4 a senior elderly man and a child. We had to pay extra to get a room immediately and we waited the regular time for the other room. The rooms were on the same floor but each were on the other end of the floor. The hotel also listed breakfast which we had to pay extra 30$ for each only to find out it wasn’t in this hotel but in a different hotel we had to go to. This hotels property is terrible at communicating these specifications to their customers. We asked if they had parking they said yes and that staff will provide instruction upon arrival but we were told that we need to park at the souqs parking. They could have just mentioned that early on!! I personally had a terrible experience.

Very good hotel - welcoming and professional staff. Ambience and safety for a solo female traveller was excellent. Location was brilliant. Distance nearby to all main attractions. Was able to use Karwa taxi service and all drivers were fab too! Prices were reasonable and buses were free too! The metro is cheaper and easy to use And it felt safe everywhere. Free water and help from all staff at the hotel. Breakfast was good and my room was automatically upgraded after the lock wasn’t working without extra charge. No hassle at all. Really enjoyed my stay and would come back and also recommend to family and friends. I stayed for 10 days and was very impressed. Thank you to all the staff. Qatar is a beautiful country with lovely people. Highly recommended!
