DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Doha Old Town

Staff working on level 2 were great (Anna,Ismail and Ching). Special mention to Ismail who worked on level 2 dining, he was always so friendly and happy, and became a firm favourite with the kids. Showed genuine concern and acted so promptly when our daughter nearly choked!

The hotel has spacious rooms and they are in good condition. the bathrooms are large and comfortable. The location is not the most better for family plans. It is located in old city. However, my stay was not what I expected since I traveled to Doha with 8 members of my family and we reserved 4 rooms thinking of enjoying the city and the hotel and it was not like that: The hotel advertises that it has a swimming pool but it is out of service and does not have on the hotels .com page no warning that the pool is out of service. This was disappointing for me since when you travel on a leisurely plan with family and children, you expect to be able to count on this. otherwise the hotel lobby is basic and does not give a very good impression of the hotel. The buffet breakfast does not have a great variety. it could be better
