Residence Inn by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde

The hotel is located in a good area. Very close to restaurants and a market, which was nice since it has a full kitchen. The pool was nice and I loved the bar area. They even had live entertainment on the weekend. The kids pool is awesome and the staff was great! Very friendly and we hardly ever had to wait! The reason for the 4 star rating is our room smelled of mildew and cat urine, and stayed quite moist. The breakfast was nasty, and food was overpriced, and the beach was a 15 minute walk. Not exactly across the street. Overall we had a good stay here.

I had to constantly request house keeping from the front desk it was only once a complaint was made that they began to come daily as they are supposed to. The pool was absolutely filthy. It’s great they allow drinks and food by the pool but ADULTS clearly have no sense when children are in the pool and leave their trash around the pool area and even in the pool. I had to go to the pharmacy to get eye wash for my kids and sister as they went into the pool and all of them came out with eye irritation. There was a strange film in the water that I saw standing over the pool. The filter around the pool area was loose and my sisters foot got stuck in it and she fell. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel is clean and kid friendly the pool area is nice and relaxing my kids had a ball! Marisol handles the front desk well she’s polite and extremely informative the hotel restaurant breakfast and burger isn’t too great but my youngest enjoyed the tenders lol the wait time was a bit long for the food and the choices are limited however there are more restaurants within walking distance from the hotel parking for guest should be free but it’s not it’s 19 dollars a day and there should be a better method used for the meal credit that’s charged during your stay someone charged drinks to my room at a time that I wasn’t even in the vicinity and during checkout I had to wait for them to go through tons of receipts from that night to Verify that it wasn’t me who signed for it luckily it was squared away prior to me leaving other than that I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again and recommend to others!

Rooms, services and staffs were excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants in the area (walking distance). Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The property was clean as well as the bedroom with air conditioning. Easy access to the beach, walkable about 7 minutes. Free breakfast every morning with choices. Shopping and dining close by and parking is on property. Has a gym and adult and childrens fun swimming pools.I highly recommend this property

I’ve traveled to many places but this one stood out for their cleanliness and service. Upon entering Residence Inn Marriott, my family and I was greeted by front desk staff Ms. Marisol. Marisol was very professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and caring of our needs. She made our stay here amazing. My mother isn’t mobile and she even gave us recommendations of things we can do with my mom. I understand it’s her job but she was a natural at making us as comfortable as possible. Marisol, my family and I thank you very much for your hospitality. If you are looking for a family friendly place in San Juan check this place out. It’s clean, staff are friendly, breakfast was fresh and the overall property condition was like new. I’m very pleased with my stay.

Great location and family friendly.

My family had a great stay at the Residence Inn in April 2024. Everything was terrific. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was ideal for dining, beach, and trips to San Juan. The pool and bar were very enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here for a well rounded, affordable trip to P.R.

Stayed here with my kids, and had an amazing time and my kids love it, Thank you Karina the overnight girl, she was very helpful. Clean environment, excellent staff, I will be back for sure.

This property went above and beyond to correct errors made by Expedia and showed real compassion for me and my children as I was very overwhelmed by information not provided by Expedia …. I would book directly through them for my next trip
