Lisbon São Bento Hotel

As a solo traveler on foot with hold luggage the proximity of this hotel to a Metro station which could be reached very easily and directly from HD airport its location was both very handy and also very cheaply. My double bed sized room was spotlessly clean, comfy and was sufficiently sized for my own needs. The room was cleaned and maintained daily. The reception staff were all both friendly and helpful. Only breakfast was provided and the available selection was consistent and I thought very reasonable with: sweet & continental options, cereals, various fresh and dried fruit and also cooked egg, bacon and sausage options each day. The rooms have small fridges and pod coffee machines and there are small market/grocery and fruit shops within easy walking distance 100-500m away so you can store and supplement this if desired. For a mid-sized 3⭐️ hotel I thought this was really good. It might have been the time of year that I visited (June) but I only saw couples and small groups of couples or friends at breakfast and did not see any families so that might be due to the mix of rooms available here?
