Altis Grand Hotel

The staff really made the stay most enjoyable. We travelled with 2 young kids and they surprised them with popcorn kernels and a popcorn machine. It was the little touches of thoughtfulness and professionalism that really made the stay great!

It was a great stay, the hotel has provided us with a n ice baby cot that is big in size for free which was great, they were super helpful and accommodating at all times. Great hotel to stay!

Excellent city centre family hotel!

Initially we were not sure about this hotel when we arrived it seemed a little outdated for a 5 star hotel. However we changed our minds quickly, this was our first time travelling with a 3 month old baby. The staff at this place are amazing, the biggest asset to the hotel. From the front desk, roof top bar, the hotel manager and staff at the restaurant, we could not have asked for more, customer service wise. We really liked the vibe at the rooftop restaurant and the bar. The restaurant also had good veggie options (the gnocci was really good). We also had a good experience at the breakfast buffet the staff were really attentive and made an effort to interact with our baby which was heartwarming. After initially feeling this hotel wasn't for us (first day) we would definitely stay here again, especially good for families (just a note kids and babies are not allowed in the pool after 4pm which is mentioned on their website and understandable.

The hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great, however children are not allowed in the pool after 4pm, this rule should be on website and booking information as I purposely chose a hotel with a pool for my child and wanted to use see each day after sightseeing which was not possible, even though the pool was empty some of the days we were still not allowed use it. I could have chose a more reasonably priced hotel with no pool had I known this information.

Staff were excellent with our toddler. Hotel was also very, very good. Only one complaint, the pool isn't open for children after 4pm.

Great for families. The first hotel I've ever stayed in that actually had crib-sized pillows and blankets for kids - usually it's just an adult sized sheet folded up which is not ideal. Breakfast buffet had great selections. The 12th floor bar had excellent cocktails and great service all around. I would definitely stay here again.
