A charming, boutique hotel with helpful staff. Dining options in the hotel and nearby were very good. We spent time at the family friendly park across the street. We will stay at the Alegria again!

Old world charm and modern convenience in a walkable neighborhood. We were close to Metro and Rossio Station for a day trip to Sintra and the Gloria Funicular to the spectacular views from Bairro Alto. Easy walk to waterfront attractions and transportation to Belém and the Tile Museum. Across the street is Praça Alegría with a small cafe, weekend music and picturesque fountain. Enjoyed the intimate, family restaurants located nearby and strolling down the upscale Avenida da Libertade to Restauradores Square. Perfect spot in a difficult city to navigate.
