Sensi Azores Nature and SPA

Amazing resort! Blew away anywhere else we stayed during our 8 days in the Azores. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Food at the restaurant top notch for lunch and dinner. Bartenders fun to hang out with. We didn’t do any spa services, more concentrated on excursions and exploring the beautiful coast and mountains surrounding the property. Already highly recommended this location for friends and family.

Sensi was an absolutely amazing property. We loved every second of our stay here; from the inviting staff, unique tasty foods, and the sound of the birds on the property, we wished we could have stayed forever! Our room was a corner room with a plunge pool (heated) it felt very private although there was a family staying next to us with children who we could hear. Waking up to the sound of the birds was so magical! The use of the spa was also convenient at night; the mineral bath was very relaxing. The staff at the property helped us arrange airport transfer by a local taxi which we enjoyed. The proper is off of the beaten path but is well worth a visit. When we visit Sai Miguel in the future we will spend all of our time here.

I spent 4 nights at Sensi with my two daughters and it was a beautiful relaxing place to begin and end our days on Sao Miguel. I loved the beautiful ocean views, my children loved the warm indoor pool, and all three of us loved the breakfast. The people there were all friendly and helpful any time we needed anything. I would definitely go back!

This was such a clean totally relaxing experience. I wholeheartedly reccommend to anyone. Luckily I had pre booked massages every day so the visit was a true spa experience. A certfied in ayurvedic and lymphatic drainage massage techiniques myself, I can attest to the expertise of the three therapists: Sylvia ( with curly hair), Sylvia (with straight hair) and Crissina. These ladies massagesd away years of aches for my mother and ongoing muscular pains in my case. It’s a cool, quiet place with wonderful staff. The dinner creations from the chef- superb! And mixologist Dionisio really serves up some of the most delicious cocktails you can imagine. Waitstaff - Klovis and Lara are great but Alex’s exuberance has us wanting to return with my young nephews as she’s noted that she’s available to babysit. And we saw her great way with the children who were staying during our visit. Finally the owners Therese and Miguel appear to take the time to greet each of the guests informally. They truly made us feel welcome. The downside for my me was that I don’t drive so I couldn’t easily leave to experience other area attractions or other parts of the island. Also remember to bring your wash cloth. And perhaps unusual but I don’t travel with a cellphone. This posed a major problem at this hotel as in order to get wifi you had to use your cellphone. (The mixologist used his personal number to connect me) Sensi was by far our favourite hotel during our Azores visit!
