Hyatt Place Managua

Great Hotel in the Capital. We stay here very frequently but faced a big issue this time. No water pressure in the shower for the entirety of our stay. Not even a drip. After talking to the day manager about the inconvenience of our first nights stay, we were assured the problem was minutes away from being corrected. We stayed a second night based on his promise. We and our baby are now going on day three without a proper shower and have left this hotel. Some staff recommended we just use the pool to wash lol.

To me is my home away from home. Every time I am in Managua, I book at the Hyatt. The staff and manager Joel are always very welcoming. I stayed 3 nights with family. Area is close to restaurants and shops. Hope to be back soon.

The pool need improvement. Very slippery we had 2 kids and the boards were chipped damgerous

The hotel staff was very friendly, and spoke good English. The pool was great for the kids, and had sun over it until 4pm. The air conditioning stopped working one of the days we were there, but the hotel staff was able to come up and repair it within 30 minutes. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering gallo pinto every day, and nacatamales on the weekend.

What I liked is that the driver waited for us when the flight was delayed. What I didn't like what the poor customer service at the front desk. I came from the airport at 5:30 AM and was trying to sleep and the ladies from the room cleaning were making a lot of noises and screaming names. I couldn't sleep at all. The second time that I was trying to stay, the front desk gentleman didn't honor the price and made me make the reservation online through expedia to lock that price, I did but I didn't include my two kids and when I told him to complete everything he refused, I asked him to cancel the reservation since I paid in advanced and he told me that I had to communicate with Expedia, I tried but Expedia refer me to the hotel, I explained that to him and he refused to help me even though when I dialed the number to contact the hotel (international call) his phone was the one ringing. Very Terrible experience and bad attitude and service, I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, I was tired and just needed to rest.

In addition to the warm welcome, the breakfast at this hotel was truly amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We were not only impressed by the pet-friendly atmosphere but also by the quality of service and the amenities provided for our four-legged family member, Abby. I would like to extend my gratitude to this hotel for setting an example of how to be pet-friendly. I encourage other hotels to consider opening their spaces to furry companions, as it enhances the overall experience for families like ours. Our stay here was a testament to how a hotel can cater to both human and pet guests. We hope to see more hotels follow suit!

Me and my family enjoy a lot to stay here. Service it’s great! Food it’s so delicious and it’s pretty safe.
