Great location and buffet breakfast for families. Parking is $50 a night extra but worth it

We were originally put into rm 151 by the entrance and a children’s play area. They were very considerate about changing us to a quieter room. One thing that would change the shower experience is if they would put weight in the shower curtain or something else. It was quite annoying to have the curtain stuck to you during a shower.

Our stay at the Novotel was great, located in a convenient area, room was clean and comfortable although lacking storage space for a family of 4 with snow gear… but Queenstown is so beautiful and inviting we didn’t spend much time in our room. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, Thomas was exceptional giving us detailed information on activities we could do with our family and making sure our stay was 10/10.

Very disappointed!! The lifts weren’t working, so we had to use stairs to our room which was on the 4th floor, this was made more challenging with a child with disability!! This information should be made available on their website,if we had know we would not have booked!! Other than that hotel is walking distance to town restaurants and bars

Service and standards you would expect from Novotel. Can't ask for a better location in Queenstown. Out the door is the Bay Beach. Turn right you are in centre of Queenstown with shops and restaurants. Turn left Queenstown Gardens an a lovely playground for kids. Note: we were there in summer so I am unsure how convenient this is in winter for skiing.

I am glad they has been able to provide a room for a day for my family before the booked date and we didn't have to move to another room. The front of house and valet service staff were very friendly and helpful. The room service staff have been keeping our room tidy. However, when I picked up one of the towels after shower was a little bit wet in the folded middle layer. I understand it was a last minute booking and we had to wait for 30mins to get room cleaned. However, a wet bath towel is the last thing I would ever want to see. I know it could be some unreasonable doubt but I couldn't help but wonder if it was from last guest? Or was it dropped on a wet floor? The tissue paper box was left open without refill on the table for our last night. These are the 2 main problems we had during our stay. My family runs a few high end hotels overseas and this is not a motel but a 4 star hotel, hence being picky. I would rate it 7.5/10 for the stay.

Great staff but the room was a bit cramped for the price and noise from other guests' kids was a bit much.
